The Saskatoon Academy of Irish Dance (SAID) was established in 1999 by Laurie Johnston. Since then, the school has branched out to include lessons in Prince Albert, and Perdue, Saskatchewan.
Dancers of SAID enjoy competing throughout Western Canada and have had much success at regional feiseanna.
In addition, they perform regularly throughout Saskatchewan at various functions including the Festival of Trees, FolkFest, and Mosaic.
The atmosphere in each class is fun and energetic, with emphasis on making friends and enjoying all aspects of Irish dance including solo and team dancing.
All classes are held at 1628 9 Ave N., in the Saints Martyrs Canadienne Church Hall. Dancers practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, and cost is $65/month/dancer. Please contact us for further information. |
