The Saskatoon Academy of Irish Dance (SAID) was established in 1999 by Laurie Henriksen. Since then, the school has branched out to include lessons in Regina, Prince Albert, and Perdue, Saskatchewan.
Dancers of SAID enjoy competing throughout Western Canada and have had much success at regional feiseanna.
In addition, they perform regularly throughout Saskatchewan at various functions including the Festival of Trees, FolkFest, and Mosaic.
The atmosphere in each class is fun and energetic, with emphasis on making friends and enjoying all aspects of Irish dance including solo and team dancing. |
